Darin received his private pilot certificate in Febuary of 1983, and then enlisted in the USAF and worked as an air traffic controller for four years. Upon completion of his military service, he attended Metropolitan State Collage of Denver and graduated in 1991 with a Bachelors in aerospace with a focus of Professional Pilot. While attending MSCD, he earned his ratings through CFII and MEI and after graduation worked at Altitudes Flight Training at Centennial airport. In the fall of 1994 he was hired by International Jet Aviation and flew the Lear24,25 and 35. The following year Frontier Airlines offered him a position and he began my career. Darin enjoys G.A. and the different flying challenges it offers, and it is exciting for him to teach the next generation of aviators and share in their enthusiasm for flying.
